Ingredients:
2 cups of self-rising flour
½tspSalt
½ cup sugar
1 stickof butter(softened
1 cup buttermilk
Method:
Preheat oven at 350°and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pour flour in a bowl and add ½ a teaspoon of salt and 1/2 cup of sugar, and mix well.
Add the butter to the bowl and flour mixture and mix flour and butter together until it's evenly mixed. (The mixture will have a clumpy/ chunky consistency.)
Next, add half of the buttermilk and mix well until the batter becomes doughy and consistency.
Form dough into 3-inch biscuits, place on the parchment paper lined tray, and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
