Sautéed Broccolini

Ingredients
- Sautéed Broccolini
- 1 shallot, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- 2 heads broccolini or 1 head broccoli (sliced into pieces)
- Kosher salt
- Cracked black pepper
- Juice of 1 small lemon
Instructions
Preheat a large saute pan coated with olive oil over medium high heat. Add the shallots and garlic into the oil so it can begin to infuse it for 1-2 minutes. Lay the stalks of broccolini into the saute pan and season with salt and pepper. Sear them on each side until they are golden brown and tender but still firm. Add more olive oil if needed. Squeeze the juice of a fresh lemon over the cooking broccolini and reduce for 1-2 minutes. Take off the heat and serve as a side dish!
