Instructions
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of cassava flour
- 1¼ - 2 cups of water
- 2 teaspoons of sea salt
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
Method:
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Slowly begin to mix in the water. Stop after you reach 1 ¼ cup and mix well. Add additional water as needed until you have a stiff dough. Careful not to have crumbling dough, and dough should not be too moist.
- Cover bowl with a lid or plastic wrap for 30 minutes.
- Heat a cast iron or stainless steel pan over medium heat. Add enough vegetable oil to lightly grease the pan.
- Grab a small handful of the dough and form a ball, drop it in the hot skillet and allow to cook for 3- 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. You can place 3 - 4 balls of dough in the skillet depending on how big the skillet is. Repeat the process until all the bammy is cooked and browned to your liking.
