Well, the unofficial end of Summer has come and gone, and while Labor Day 2020 differed significantly from past Labor Day weekends, it wasn’t all bad. Yeah, there were parties, cookouts, and PRIDE festivities (in Atlanta), but the masses didn’t pop-out with the street fashions and do the most per usual. However, some couldn’t bear to disappoint us.
Enter the oh-so-stylish actress Raven Goodwin. For those who aren’t familiar with Goodwin, let’s just say she’s been blessing the screen and spreading black girl magic since she was nine-years-old. From roles on hit series such as Malcolm In The Middle, Everybody Hates Chris, Glee, Being Mary Jane, and TV movies like The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel, Goodwin has done it all. Sis is not only slaying the fashion game, but she’s out here working, and she has a stack of receipts to prove it.
While the Being Mary Jane star earned the curvy fashionista title years ago, she hasn’t let motherhood stop her from slaying the streets. You would think that a first-time mother, only five months in, would be too overwhelmed with breastfeeding and changing diapers to keep it cute. Well, not this mommiana; being Riley Rosa Bell’s mommy has clearly given her style game a boost of energy, and we’re here for it!

Orange is one of our favorite colors, it is the perfect meld of the happiness that yellow represents and the energy of red. Orange is brilliant, bold, and badass especially when worn by a melanated queen like Raven. She literally bodied this bodycon from Rebdolls. And, pairing it with orange shoes from ASOS created a monochrome slay for the curvy gods and goddesses.
It’s the fupa for me! However, the total package is lit; confidence, style, and joy are all on full display. We’re absolutely in love with this black jumper from ASOS. Oh! And, we’re loving how Raven is owning her full-figure — fupa and all.
