#1 Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex. Lyst revealed that “Meghan Markle was the most powerful dresser of 2019, and her outfits sparked, on average, a 216% increase in searches for similar pieces.” When the Duchess makes an appearance, her looks or similar styles often sell out. Lyst reported, “After she wore five different shirt dresses on the Royal Tour of South Africa, searches for the category grew 45% over a month.” It’s no wonder The Duchess is number one on the report!

#3 Zendaya. When you mix a talented actress, style icon, and social media influencer together, you get Zendaya. Coming in third on the report, Lyst revealed, “When she stepped out on the MET Gala red carpet dressed in a light-up Cinderella gown by Tommy Hilfiger – complete with a carriage shaped bag and glass slippers – her look caused a 54% rise in search for the brand.” Her stylist, Law Roach, has created slay-worthy after slay-worth looks for the 23-year-old. There’s no wonder why fashion houses want to partner with her, and fans want to dress like her.

#5 Cardi B. She has a bold personality and style to match. Coming in at number five, Lyst reported that the Bronx beauty was “one of the most impactful faces at Fashion Week in September.” Although Cardi B proclaims to be “regular degular shmegular girl from the Bronx,” her fans seem to think otherwise.

#8 Lizzo. She told you she’s 100% that b*tch, and we believe her. Coming in at number eight, Lyst revealed that the demand for “signature leotards – searches have risen 28% year on year.” Repping for body diversity, she recently broke barriers with her British Vogue Magazine cover. While Loni Love might have said there are no plus size fashion icons, Lizzo is undoubtedly gunning for that title.

Billy Porter rounded out the celeb list at number ten for his striking red carpet moments. “When he wore a custom tuxedo-gown by Christian Siriano to the Oscars, searches for the designer increased 101% in 24 hours.” Need we say more!
