Wildfires have swept over Los Angeles, California, in what the LA Times calls “One of the most destructive firestorms in LA history.” With over 28,000 acres of land burned between the Hollywood Hills, Palisades, Eaton, Sunset and Hurst neighborhoods, many people are displaced, losing everything they own to the catastrophic fires wreaking havoc around them.
Among those affected are the first-time homeowners, people who’ve lived in their family home for 20+ years, business owners, and, of course, the celebrities who’ve made California their stomping grounds. This unfortunate, destructive, and extreme weather event has over 130,000 residents displaced amid chaos.
